The Great Gatsby

The production filmed on location at an old seminary in Australia,
then added turrets digitally.

The Mansion: The floor of the hall has a center medallion in the parquet floor,
a marquetry monogram made of different wood veneers.

The Buchanan salon has one of Martin's rug designs,
Black Pearl, custom colored to match a description in "The Great Gatsby."
The chairs are a Swedish design purchased at Gamla Lan in Australia
and upholstered in Spider, a fabric by Neisha Crosland.

Gatsby's bedroom is two stories, of course.
One of the focal points is Martin's 16.5-by-13-foot Westchester rug.
"Gatsby" fans actually can buy it -- for around $17,300.
The quilted walls are upholstery fabric overlaid with metal strips.
